WertheimerLipton is a dynamic family law practice located in New York City. We are lawyers, but we are also counselors. And more importantly, we are human beings.

Our clients come to us during some of the most difficult times in their lives and getting through those difficult times is personal to us. That is why we strive to ensure that your voice is heard. Fred A. Wertheimer

Bio

Fred is a veteran New York family law attorney with over three decades of experience as a practicing attorney.

Prior to founding WertheimerLipton, Fred practiced under his own name at the Law Office of Fred A. Wertheimer, specializing in matrimonial and family law. Fred has experience successfully handling all types of family law cases, including custody, divorce, child support, neglect, domestic violence, pre and post nuptial agreements and mediation.

Alexandria Lipton

Bio

Alexandria is a founding partner at WertheimerLitpon and has been practicing family law in New York for the last decade.

Before entering private practice, she began her career as an agency attorney for the New York City Administration for Children’s Services. During that time, she also was a guest lecturer for family law courses at New York Law school, teaching law students litigation and trial preparation.

In 2015, Alexandria started her own practice, which focused on family law matters such as divorce, custody, child support and child welfare.
